This was created for the professional development I prepared with @nantana for Penn State Instructional Designers. The content was inspired by a tip from <em>147 Practical Tips for Teaching Online Groups</em> by Hanna et al.</p>

<p><strong>Short Description: </strong><br />
Japanese I.M.A. (Japanese Instructional Movie Archive) was a pilot website that introduced Japanese learners to culturally relevant film clips with rich contextual use of language to aid in learning Japanese. These clips are augmented with learning activities and supplemental materials related to each film clip. The focus of this paper was the technical and instructional design decision-making process through the adaptation of Joomla as a content management system to organize these materials.</p>
