Green light, moving straight ahead
I “defended” my dissertation proposal on Friday afternoon. Defended is misleading as I was not presenting to a hostile audience. Actually I am happy to have been able to get the really helpful feedback that came out of the meeting. So next step is to get moving on the data collection of the dissertation.
You’ve done well, Heather Skywalker. Obi-Wan has taught you well. Your skills are complete, indeed you are powerful as the Professor has foreseen.
But you underestimate the power of the dark side. Give yourself to the Dark Side. It is the only way you can save your dissertation. Yes. Your thoughts betray you. Your feelings for it are strong. Especially for… qualitative analysis. So, you intend a qualitiative analysis. Your feelings have now betrayed it, too. Obi-Wan was wise to hide it from me. Now his failure is complete. If you will not turn to the Dark Side… then perhaps the dissertation will.
